With over ten years of performing experience, including being part of an eight-piece progressive
jam band and a Hip-Hop Duo, Tertiary has been honing his skills in singing, songwriting, producing,
audio engineering, booking and managing. His work has earned him spots opening for Pusha T of
G.O.O.D. Music, Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) of Bad Boy Records, and Ace Hood of We The Best Music
Group/YMCMB. In his time as a solo artist Tertiary has also become a member of the Public Rights
Organization, ASCAP.
Terry Tertiary has delivered crowd captivating performances at such venues as The House of Blues in
Cleveland, Ohio and Subterranean in Wicker Park of Chicago, Illinois. Terry is looking to expand beyond
the midwest and has already taken great strides in doing so by gaining 72,000+ plays on his song “Free
Your Mind.” This was as a result of the two Paris, Electro Swing, DJ’s, “Bart&Baker” taking a liking to the
young artists’ music and reposting it for their fans. Terry has also been the UIC Radio host of the
Wardens MidWest RadioShow since Fall of 2014 helping bridge the gap between the underground
music scene in Chicago and it’s taste makers. Terry has also been featured in many other projects such
as his brothers, S.O.T.O.V., on Death to Strangers off of their 1512 EP. Tertiary has started branding an
image by releasing music videos via his youtube page and teaming up with the clothing and apparel
brand Subliminal Tactix also native to Chicago. Terry’s work has been featured in many media outlets
such as WIIT 88.9 FM, KevinNottingham.com, DeadEndHipHop.com, thewordisbond.com, Columbus
Alive, Backdrop Magazine, The Athens Messenger, The Post, 3 Elliot Studiosand of course UIC
Radio/Wardens MidWest Radio. Terry Tertiary has performed in the Chicago Blues Fest in 2017 and
2019. He has also performed at the House of Blues in Cleveland.
Terry Tertiary’s most recent musical project is Soundtrack to Revolution By, collaborating with a few
of his in house producers. STRB is now available at wardensmidwest.com. Terry’s project has already
received support on Chicago websites like Creative Cypher and Art of Culture Chi (Previously Dondas
House), blogs such as DeadEndHipHop. Terry has also released a new song with Impac that’s produced
by Chicago’s favorite, Lord Haiti called Content.
With Terry Tertiary’s 10 years of experience in playing guitar, producing and audio engineering, as well
as his 10+ years of singing and rapping, he certainly has many more songs to release and is now looking
for the perfect platforms for showcasing his live performances and expanding his already growing fan
base.
